Development impact analysis involves a process to comprehensively
evaluate the consequences of development on a community. The assessment process
should be an integral part of the planning process as it provides extensive
documentation of the anticipated economic, fiscal, environmental, social and
transportation-related impacts of a particular development on a community.
This publication provides a framework for analysis of the fiscal, traffic,
socio-economic, and environmental impacts on communities.
