Health Care for Farm Families
January 2000 - Present
Health care is a major obstacle to Wisconsin's self-employed farm operators and their workforce. PATS has documented the health care crisis and worked to educate policy makers and individuals on short and long term solutions to the issue. In 2008, PATS partnered with ABC for Health to do outreach on health care options for farm families, presenting to UW Extension and DATCP farmcenter personnel.
